Regional Delegate)2 \nwww.nwscna.org \nWe ask that each GSR take the following questions from “A Guide to Local Services in Narcotics Anonmyous” to their respective group’s business meeting for discussion\, so that they are ready to bring their responses to the inventory event on June 20th. \n“The area inventory considers three general topics: \n\nHow well has the area committee done this year at serving the groups\, and how can it better serve them in the coming year?\nHow well has the area committee served the larger community\, and how can the committee better serve the community-at-large?\nHow well has the area committee done at supporting NA’s regional and world services?  How can the area provide better support for these services?\n\nA substantial amount of preparation is required on everyone’s part for an effective area inventory. GSRs\, officers\, and subcommittees must take a fearless\, searching look at their work over the last year and come to the inventory session prepared to review their roles on the committee.  GSRs should spend time with their groups considering what needs might be addressed by the area committee in the next year and come to the inventory session with ideas in hand. Officers and subcommittees should take the time to look at the make-up of the larger community in which they live\, ask themselves how NA could be more effective in reaching out to that community\, and be prepared to share their thoughts with the entire area committee.  And perhaps most importantly\, all area committee participants should make an extra effort to prepare themselves spiritually to make the most of the area inventory meeting.  Materials available from your World Service Office may provide additional help\, especially in developing an agenda for your inventory session.” \nFrom A Guide to Local Services in Narcotics Anonymous pg. 59

Tents and trailers are allowed\, but there are no RV hook-ups.  No showers are available\, but there will be Honey Buckets.  You’ll have access to the river for water activities.  There’ll be speaker meetings\, raffles\, and outdoor games! We’re looking for donations of the following items for baskets\, auctions\, etc… \n\nAny whole dessert item in a disposable container (cakes\, pies\, parfaits).  Bring it to the event!\nAny NA-related or uplifting art for the silent art/excursion auction (any media).\nAny gift certificate from an NA member for a service/excursion for a party of 2-4.  Movie tickets\, bike rentals\, guided tours\, salon services\, drive-in/arcade certificates\, boat tours\, local festival tickets\, farmers market gift certificates\, etc… (this is meant to be faster group camaraderie).
